About this game
Mahjong Battle is a single player Sichuan blood battle against three AI opponents. You sit as East and deal first with fourteen tiles from a one hundred thirty six tile set without flowers. On your turn you may declare a concealed kong or throw a tile into the river, and when an opponent discards a tile you need you can call pong, open kong or Hu to seize the win. Hands finish with four sets plus one pair or with seven distinct pairs. Fan patterns — plain win, all triplets, full flush, seven pairs and after kong — boost your score, and the placement bonus rewards beating every rival. Tenpai hints and a wall counter keep rounds quick.
How to play
Tap a tile to raise it and tap again to discard, then use the Pong, Kong or Hu buttons to claim a rival discard.
Tips & Tricks
- Raise a tile first — the second tap confirms the discard.
- Press Ting to highlight the draws that would complete your hand.
- Call Pong only when it moves your hand closer to tenpai.
- Watch the wall counter — the round ends in a draw when it runs dry.

How is the round score calculated in Mahjong Battle?
Every win earns fan from patterns such as all triplets, full flush, seven pairs or after kong, and the final score adds one hundred points per seat you beat plus one hundred fifty per fan. When the wall runs dry the round ends in a draw, the remaining hands are ranked by closeness to tenpai and placement still pays.
Which winning shapes does the game accept?
The standard shape of four sets plus one identical pair, or the seven pairs shape with seven distinct pairs — four identical tiles do not count as two pairs. Sichuan rules have no chow, so only pongs and kongs can be claimed from discards, and a concealed kong counts as one set with an extra draw.
