About this game

FreeCell deals all fifty two cards face up into eight cascades, so nothing is hidden and every loss is your own. Move cards between columns building alternating red and black descending runs, park stray cards in the four free cells and stack each suit from ace to king on the foundations. Almost every deal can be won with clean planning — free cells multiply what you can move, empty columns double it, and the supermove formula of one plus empty cells times two to the power of empty columns tells you exactly how long a run you can lift at once. Numbered Microsoft deals are reproduced faithfully, a daily deal is picked for you and unlimited restarts keep the practice loop tight.

How to play

Tap a card to select it, tap a destination to move it and double tap to send a card straight to its foundation.

Tips & Tricks

• Keep two free cells open as long as you can — they are your escape hatch.
• An empty column is worth more than a filled one — fill it last.
• Aces and deuces can almost always go up — send them early.
• Count the supermove cap before dragging a long run — one more empty cell doubles it.
