About this game
Pocket Pet Companion is a cozy, zero failure pet game about gentle company. Adopt a little frog, cat or octopus, name it, feed it and pet it for hearts and a soft purr. Pack its tiny bag and send it out for thirty minutes, two hours or six real hours. Time keeps moving even while you are away, so it wanders alone and comes home with a hand drawn postcard, souvenirs and a little travel story. Duplicate souvenirs turn into stars for new gear, and your days together count up as the truest score.
How to play
Feed and pet it, pack its bag and pick a trip. Keys F, D and 1 to 3 also work.

- Fullness only changes the face, hunger never harms your friend
- Petting in slow strokes makes hearts and a soft purr
- The scarf, cloak and camera appear in the postcard portrait
- Stars come from duplicate souvenirs and from every new day
Frequently asked questions
What happens to my pet when I close the game?
Time runs on a real clock, so trips continue offline and a six hour journey finishes even with the page closed. When you come back the postcard, the souvenirs and the day counting are all settled from timestamps, and a hungry pet is only a little pouty, never sick.
Can I lose or fail in this game?
No. There is no sickness, no death and no punishment anywhere. Every number only has a floor, feeding a full pet just gets a polite wave, and your only long term goals are the days together counter and the twelve postcards, which makes this a game you can never lose.
