Idle Planet

About this game

Idle Planet is a relaxing mining idle game set in a fresh star system. Tap the asteroid to chip out ore by hand, then reinvest the ore into eight tiers of automatic miners, from simple drills and excavator arms to orbit rings, mass drivers, space elevators and a mighty star siphon. Machines keep producing while you are away, and every next unit costs fifteen percent more, so steady sequencing beats frantic tapping. Banked ore pushes your planet through eight evolution stages, from a barren gray rock to a glowing ringed jewel. When the final stage fills, a colony ship launches, the run is scored on total ore mined, and a new game plus begins with a permanent production bonus.

How to play

Tap the asteroid to mine ore, then buy miners from the panel below so production continues on its own.

Tips & Tricks

• Tap early and often — the first drill costs fifteen ore and pays forever.
• Cheaper machines bought in bulk usually beat saving for one expensive machine.
• Offline mining runs at quarter rate for up to eight hours — come back to claim the bonus.
• Watch the stage bar — the colony ship launches the moment the final stage fills.
