Hexa Sort
About this game
Hexa Sort is a soothing stacking puzzle played on a hexagonal board of nineteen wells. Colored plates arrive in small stacks on a tray of three, and you drag each stack onto an empty well or onto a well whose top plate matches the bottom of your stack. Plates pile up well by well, and when five or more plates of one color connect across the tops of neighboring wells the whole segment pops at once. The plates above settle down, new colors meet, and clever drops trigger chained clears with a multiplier that grows one and a half times per step. The board begins with three colors and slowly rises to six, keeping every run fresh.
How to play
Drag a stack from the tray onto an empty well or a matching top color, and connect five or more same-colored plates across neighboring wells to clear them.

- Plan drops so one stack links two or three neighboring wells into a single five-plate segment.
- Keep wells short — a well at five plates is locked until its color connects and clears.
- Chains multiply the score by 1.5 per step, so set up the next match before the plates settle.
- Save undo for a drop that buries a color you still need — only three restores per run.
Frequently asked questions
How does scoring work?
Each cleared segment pays 100 points per five plates, and every chain step inside one drop multiplies its own points by 1.5, so a second and third cascade are worth far more than the first.
When does a run end?
The run ends when no tray stack can be dropped — every well is full or topped by a different color — and the final score is the total you banked, with the best run kept as your record.
