About this game

Gold Miner is the classic swing and grab arcade game rebuilt for the phone. A claw on a rope pendulum sweeps under your miner, and one tap fires it along a straight line into the claim below. Nuggets pay fifty, one hundred or two hundred fifty coins, the diamond pays six hundred and reels in fast, mystery bags gamble between minus fifty and plus three hundred, and stones are worth almost nothing while demanding a painfully slow haul. TNT barrels blast everything nearby to splinters. Every level grants sixty seconds and a money goal that climbs two hundred fifty coins per level. Reach the goal to advance, spend earnings in the shop between levels and chase the biggest fortune.

How to play

Tap the screen once to fire the swinging hook, and it reels back on its own with whatever it grabs.

• Fire fast and miss cheap — an empty hook returns quickly, a heavy stone wastes half the clock.
• Diamonds pay six hundred and weigh almost nothing — hunt them before big nuggets.
