About this game
Garden Makeover is a cozy merge and renovate game on a compact eight by eight board. Tap two adjacent items of the same tier to fuse them into the next one, from a humble sprout up a twenty step chain that ends in a glowing star landmark. Sprouts rise from the bottom rows and slowly fill the board, every merge pays coins, and coins buy decorations for twenty garden plots with three styles to pick from. Clear plots to finish the yard and unlock the next of three themed gardens, and the run ends when the board jams with no merge left, scoring decoration progress and your top item tier.
How to play
Tap two adjacent identical items to merge, use SPROUT for a fresh seed, and open GARDEN to decorate plots.
Tips & Tricks
- Merge toward the middle of the board so new sprouts keep flowing from the bottom.
- Chain small merges early, coins from higher tiers come faster than you think.
- Keep at least one empty bottom row, a jammed board ends the run.
- Decorate plots in order, later plots cost more but the score grows the same.
Frequently asked questions
How do merges pay in Garden Makeover?
Fusing two items into the next tier pays coins equal to twice the new tier, so a tier five item earns ten coins. Higher merges also raise your top item tier which feeds the final score.
What happens when the board is full?
The run ends when every cell is occupied and no two adjacent items share a tier. Sprouts keep rising on a timer, so keep merging toward open space and use the SPROUT button only when a merge is ready to free cells.
