About this game
Ear Test Music Quiz checks your ear in three rounds of synthesized tones. Hear two notes and pick the higher one as the interval shrinks from an octave down to a single semitone, tap back four note melodies on pads as the range widens, and find the silent gap inside an eight beat drum groove. Fifteen questions score your ear level from one to ten, and a flawless run unlocks the Perfect Pitch Candidate badge worth sharing with friends.
How to play
Listen, then tap your answer. Two replays per question. Keys 1 to 4 also work.
Tips & Tricks
- Unsure about a pair? Replay is free, twice for every question
- Anchor the lower note first, then judge if the second one climbs
- Hum the melody back in your head before tapping the pads
- Count the groove in pairs, one of the four segments hides the gap

Why do I hear nothing while playing?
Every sound is synthesized in your browser, so a muted device, a silent switch or an environment that blocks audio leaves the game quiet. Answering never depends on hearing anything, so all fifteen questions stay fully playable either way.
How is my ear level calculated?
Each of the fifteen questions is worth one hundred points. Your ear level runs from one to ten based on correct answers, and fifteen out of fifteen unlocks the Perfect Pitch Candidate badge on your share card.
